Web tools for selecting landslide measures.

The web-based tool LaRiMiT (Landslide Risk Mitigation Toolbox) was launched in November 2018, but has been further developed and gradually implemented in 2019. Among other things, LaRiMiT has been updated with a number of landslide measures categorized as NBS (nature-based solutions), partly in collaboration with the EU project PHUSICOS. LaRiMiT is based on work started in the EU project SafeLand, but which has accelerated in Klima 2050. The web solution is intended to provide users, e.g. in public agencies and in the municipal sector, help in choosing the right mitigation measures for landslides. The tool takes into account a number of factors that the user puts in, and then uses the expert assessments contained in the tool's algorithms to give the user a prioritized list of possible actions. Suggested measures are scored based on how well it fits to solve the problem itself, in relation to local conditions and the economy.
