A report presenting the recently developed susceptibility map of Norway for landslide forecasting was published in January 2019. The report was prepared jointly by NVE, the University of Innsbruck and NGI through Klima 2050. This new susceptibility map has proven to improve the performance of the landslide forecasting in Norway. Furthermore, it is already actively used by NVE in the warning system for rainfall- and snowmelt-induced landslides. The map can be visualized at www.xgeo.no under the "Supporting maps" tab, with the name "Landslide susceptibility (catchment scale)".
